Another new GRN site appeared on the ACMA database today...

Unknown Site # (Simulcast DAS) - ROUSE HILL (Train Facility Admin Building 47 Tallawong Rd) - ACMA Site: 10015528
(looks like this will be simulcast as site 001-050 off Horsley Park)
416.2625
416.5125
416.7625
417.0125
417.2625
417.5125
All frequencies on "Radiax (Leaky feeder)-Z, RADIAX, UNKNOWN", 10K1F9W, 8.3W, 0 m Antenna Height (AGL)

* Frequencies with an asterisk are licenced to the HSGA Client ID
Frequencies in RED are found on the CC List

Updated on the NSWGRN Map and added to the Unknown Sites list here on the forum.

Thanks JAFO, I've just updated the CC on site 002-086

Do you have a scanner or software that's able to capture the NAC and/or a list of peers?

No sorry Andrew on the monitoring ability, just a trusty UBCD396XT sitting in my car while traveling too and from.

ACMA shows it is one of the new 420MHz frequencies at Tower 2 Mt Elliot Gosford. The existing 416.4125MHz CC seems to have been switched off.

Mike

On Site 001-071 (Parramatta) today on the peer list adjacent site 001-112 is showing
On DSD software it shows 001-112 as having a control channel on 422.5000Mhz (ie M4 East Tunnel sites)

Re the above Mt Elliot site, is this meant to be 001-012 ie 1-12. ?
Seems to be a confusion creeping in - i noticed elsewhere on site 001-074 Peer 001-144 is actually 001-044

Those M4 tunnel sites were reported by Matt earlier (as a peer with Royal North Shore Hospital I think it was), but it was only a few days after the ACMA licences appeared and I wasn't sure if they could be operational that quick.

If you think site 001-112 is actually the M4 Tunnels I'm happy to get them off the Unid List, but I had hoped to get confirmation from within the tunnels themselves. There's four ACMA sites, all with identical frequency sets, so I *assume* they will be all simulcast under the same site number but that should probably be confirmed, and that all four are operational or only one etc.?

That was probably just a typo on my part, I've just fixed it, thanks.

Based on what I have seen of the Homebush end of the M4 East Tunnels, i would say it is an active site, presumably leaky feeder.
The M4 East is very close to being opened ... i heard a couple of months away in August

All four M4 East tunnel sites now moved from the Unid list to the Zone 1 list:

RFSS 001 Site 112 (Simulcast BDA) - ASHFIELD (M4 East tunnel opening 186 Parramatta Road) - ACMA Site: 10014352
RFSS 001 Site 112 (Simulcast BDA) - HABERFIELD (M4 East tunnel opening cnr Wattle and Ramsay Sts) - ACMA Site: 10014349
RFSS 001 Site 112 (Simulcast BDA) - HOMEBUSH (M4 East tunnel opening at Bill Boyce Reserve) - ACMA Site: 10014351
RFSS 001 Site 112 (Simulcast BDA) - NORTH STRATHFIELD (M4 East tunnel opening Queens Lane) - ACMA Site: 10014350

And updated on the NSWGRN Map. I'd still like to see confirmation from monitoring each of the four sites directly just to be sure, I have a suspicion that there may be a different site number for each pair of sites (based on the ACMA assignment grouping) but I guess we'll just have to wait and see?

I have three sites now showing 001-112 in their peers (001-071 Parramatta, 001-072 St Leonards and 001-073 Chatswood).
Both Hornsby Heights and Chatswood have 001-096 as well - apparently a cell on wheels - showing it as isolated and with a 5-xxxx number (everything shows 4-xxxx)

423.9875 is shown as a NSW wide Telco Repeater on the ACMA

Thanks yet again, cartman!

CoW 001-096 added and all those peers updated on the list (except I obviously didn't add the 001-096 CoW to the fixed sites' lists).
