Yep, good spotting Mike - I'm hearing it here as well, and all the frequencies in the master list are correct.

Confirming Aberdeen is online now as Site 2-045, as it is peering off Mt Arthur at Muswellbrook.

Hopefully I will have more information on it soon.

I was in the Port Macquarie region over the weekend and managed to get to the North Brother Lookout today (elevation 476m /1550 feet) above Laurieton before returning home.

The only 400Mhz GRN sites that I could hear were located at Bulahdelah (Site 002-050) with active talkgroups (control channel 416.1750) and what appeared to be a new site at Coololongook (control channel 419.5125) but no talkgroup activity and a dodgy site id of 002. Got the impression when I checked it on the way home it might be still under construction/testing etc.

I did hear a P25 voice signal on 417.4500 when I was scanning through that I pinned down to a telco site at Mt Coramba Coffs Harbour (elevation 563m) but I could not hear any control channel making the trip south.

Update on Castle Hill Peers (001-075) at 11.55pm 15/7/19

i suspect the 417.4500 to be an SES Frequency as it has been registered since 1999
to many radios as 255 characters is not enough :)

Wow, i missed it by a day
It was dead quiet the day before.
My listening location at North Brother had line of sight .... you can see Mt Yarrahapinni on the northern horizon
According to the status, it is currently in Site Trunking mode

Good to see it will be Phase 2 straight off the bat.

will keep and eye in Northern Rivers over the next few months to see what happens

interesting that they went with RFSS Region 3 for North Coast instead of RFSS 2

I am seeing a strange neighbour on the Castle Hill GRN site. Pro96com is showing 416.1375, RFSS 002 Site 001 as a neighbour.

I'm willing to bet that since the NOCC and workshop is only as few hundred meters away, that it's a new site in testing, being run in their garage.

Looking at maprad.io shows that there's a few places that frequency is licensed, but all those spots are for existing sites that have been operational for years. Maybe this is a new replacement site?

Cheers,
Matt
