Would the Top Ryde and SPC sites be BDA?

Of the five Sydney area sites listed...

Three are underground sites and I'm not sure these would even have peers since very few radios could ever affiliate with them?

And Smith St Parramatta was only licenced last month so may not even be transmitting yet?

So that just leaves the Top Ryde shopping centre, which is a bit of a mystery. Going by the "Date Authorised" from the ACMA licences it's been licenced since December 1993, which is the same time as all the original sites (GPT, Beecroft, etc.), and as you say, I'm sure someone would've run across it by now if it was actually operating, even if only an 'in-building' leaky feeder site?

OTOH, why would they keep it licenced for the last 24 years if it wasn't operating?

Is there any kind of agency which has offices in that shopping centre? Perhaps it's a very specialised 'just for one particular user' site?

[INSERT EDIT: Looks like that shopping centre has its own website with a list of "stores", but the only one remotely government-related is the City of Ryde Customer Service Centre and I don't recall ever seeing their name on a users list?]

P.S. I'm undecided whether the SPC site should still appear in the unidentified sites list too, I know we've guessed it's site ID from a peer on Chullora but I'm still not convinced that allocation is correct?

NAC 2D0. Unitrunker suggests its a P2 site, yet to see any P2 activity on it.
Peer sites 170, 319, 320, 321, 347, 348

Mt Cowangerang Site 350. New site May 2017.
CC 418.650

Thank you sir, I'll update them now...

Do you know if those sites are P2 on the two active bandplans? I recall one of the other new sites was doing that too but only on unused bandplans.

Also, could I confirm that ACC freq on Mt Cow? 418.525 doesn't appear to be licenced at the site (according to the ACMA web page), and then 418.7750 is licenced there but not listed as a VC?

And 419.6500 seems to be licenced there twice for some reason?

I'm in WA so I don't know how the GRN actually works but are the NSW Ambulance Service one of the users - maybe the leaky feeder service is for portables use while in the Shopping Centre ?

The more I look at it, the more I think we've listed the SPC site incorrectly as 001-068?

It's definitely an in-building site as the ACMA lists the antenna type as "Radiax (Leaky feeder)-Z, DAS - INDOOR, NOTIONAL"

And I just can't see an in-building site in Surry Hills being peered with Chullora?

Chullora does seem to peer with a lot of sites all over Sydney and up the mountains, including in-building sites. And if you were to exclude GPT, Chullora would likely be the next most powerful site into the CBD.

It's more that it is not showing on any other sites, especially GPT. But are sites limited to a maximum number of peers - maybe 15? If so that may effect this.

But it does match at the moment because of the frequency as per the ACMA, however we all know that can be inaccurate.

It will likely take someone to actually monitor it to confirm, or for the site to start appearing as a peer on more sites.

EDIT: Noticed '001-068' is now also appearing off the Little Bay (001-022). This does put the site likely closer to the city.

Not too sure mate, it says P2 access but no P2 bandplan.

418.525 definitely active on Mt cow come straight up as soon as you tune to it on both unitrunker and DSD. 418.775 isnt active as far as i can tell. I've been watching this site for about a month. Cant explain 419.65 either.

cheers

Just a thought... it wouldn't be the new FRNSW HQ at Greenacre would it?
