It's weird but seems like the Far South Coast sites never went off, although I suppose they must have?
So does this spell the beginning of the end for the old 4.1 system? Obviously all the old analog equipment will be removed from the SPC NOCC so once we switch back I assume the old system will be no more?
Are there many agencies still on analog?

Re: Total GRN System Shut Down
It is the end Andrew. Unless they want to use about 20 odd sites all in Site Trunking...
All agencies have migrated- they held the party over a week ago.
Cheers,
Richard

Re: Total GRN System Shut Down
Hi all, so im reading this right the 4.1 system is now disconnected?
ive just checked on unitrunker and it still shows peers however it must be mistaken as freestone is no more as a 4.1 site and is now a full P25 site?
if so why not just switch the 4.1 off?
cheers
Matt

The links are gawwwwwn, kaput, deceased, demised... only 16 sites have minimum 4.1 capacity (in site trunking) to support the FRNSW Disrec talkgroups but even these will disappear within the next 6-8 weeks. They still have a few more sites to fully change over to P25 in the next 2 weeks but no matter what anyone might think the 4.1 network is DEAD.

Richard
