Because there weren't enough local vendors still supporting Midband to ensure that there was competition or long term support for product.

Ah ok fair enough Richard, I was only stating what i was told by people who are supposed to be in the know but i guess it would come down to 1) how much money it would cost, 2) is the cost of changing over actually worth it...ivahri wrote:Not happening... haven't you noticed that they are replacing their Midband PMR with Highband? and i pay no attention to npws freq's at all..
