Just saw 100xx pop up then!

Richard, do you know why there are two control channels running at the one site? Both the 415 and 419Mhz channels are licensed to Horsely according to ACMA (which as you pointed out recently sin't always 100% correct)

I heard it too on the Uniden 396 and can confirm the talkgroup, P25 control channel and P25 voice as correct. Very broken transmission. 419.0875 and 419.7125 are the two new licences at Horsley Park. All frequencies at Horsley Park are 10K1F9W.

Yeah, they changed to that designator when they went to mixed-mode.

In case anyone wants to know what these emission designators mean, here is a link to them:

Hi Grant,

Still playing with audio settings at the moment but my first impressions of the audio quality is very good. I'm a good 15km from the site using an XTS with an external antenna & I can't pick any issues. The real tests start when we actually have multiple linked sites, this is really just playing with profile settings.

Cheers,

Can usually just pickup the Horsley Park Sit from home in the South Penrith area but not this Digital Control Channel.

Edited: more added
Grant,

Did a quick test today to see if there is any signal strength difference between the CCs- both measured at -63dBm at work so there doesn't appear to be any difference.

Cheers,

Both those digital CC are definitely at Hosley Park. I was up there under the towers the other day and both CCs were booming in with the scanner attenuated and the antenna removed.

Strangely, the HP analogue CC on 417.4625 would only open the squelch when I moved 20 meters up the road. I suspect it is on a different tower or array :?

BTW, 419.7125 seems to have been switched off.
