Trunk Frequencies

When programming a undien 396xt do you have to program the primary control or do you need the alternate as well using freescan? [WHITE SMILING FACE]

Generally speaking just the Control Channel. However if you want a belt and braces approach for when, on the odd occasion the main CC is off air for maintenance etc, then enter the Backup CC.

Phase 2 isn't that much different from Phase 1..

If you can get your head around Phase 1, then phase 2 is easy :)

Phase 2 could be a way off - I'd wait until it's actually happening..

Between now and then, the cost of radios should come down bit by bit :)

especially when there is talk of a iPhone & Android App under develipment, for many . . . radio's to access the GRN may be a thing of the past
