Posting on behalf of Garry who's forum membership seems to have vanished? He hasn't been able to log in for a week and his name seems to have disappeared from the membership list?

Any ideas?

I'll have a look in the backend for his username. Is it 'Garry'?

Does he know when he was last able to log in? Every 4-6 months, a user pruning session is run, with criteria of not having logged in for 6+ months, and with 0 posts - but would it be safe to assume he doesn't fit that criteria?

The web host has also been having some significant troubles lately, but I wouldn't think it had affected the database at all.

I just had a look.

Garry is definitely still there! It's indicating his profile details had changed recently, and the forum would have sent him an email for him to reactivate his account with a link. Could you ask him to double check his inbox/junk mail?

Not to worry though, he's definitely still in the database from what I can see!

Bigfella237, sorry about the flood of posts. I've just forced an activation on his account, so it hopefully should be ready to go.

Let me know if he's still having problems.

Another appeal for help, this time on behalf of Dave (member name "bathurstscan"), he had to change his email address, was automatically made inactive and has been unable to log into the forum for 2 days.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hey mate,

Had some serious server problems over the last week, saw his email about it too. His account is now reactivated and all should be good.
