In the city the other day I noticed the MLC building no longer seems to have antennas on top. I took this picture looking at it from the William Street Darlinghurst side.

And here is an image I found on Wikipedia showing how I remember it.

ACMA still shows there are transmitter sites on MLC.

Anyone know what's going on or am I seeing things. :?

Looking at it from the Botanical gardens the other day all I saw was satelite dishes on the roof.GPT has all the aerials now.

They all appear to have moved on top of the nearby Australia Square..

I recalled the top of Aus Square being totally bald, but now theres quite a few masts up.

I wonder if those new-ish looking cooling towers have something to do with it. The satellite dishes belong to GlobeCast who have their main control room in the buiding.

Still not many antennas on top of the MLC Building, but ACMA shows quite a few registrations -http://web.acma.gov.au/pls/radcom/site_ ... TE_ID=3351

Interestingly, the Northpoint Building (Panasonic Building) at 100 Miller St, North Sydney has many antennas atop, yet ACMA shows only two 900Mhz mobile phone registrations. http://web.acma.gov.au/pls/radcom/site_ ... _ID=301609
