Scanner Meet?
Scanner Meet?
Not sure if anybody is interested these days for gathering for a meet but I happened to be at Horlsey Park Reserve on wednesday, and came across the spot where a number of us met some years ago (next to the various comms towers).
I attended one meet there but missed the second one
It is still a fantastic spot for scanning 360 degrees - brilliant views in almost every direction
The only problem that i noticed was the native vegetation was a little out of control at the reserve but not an issue at the car park
Anybody keen for a get together?

Re: Scanner Meet?
Would that be moonrise you are talking about? not been there myself but I remember it from my HF CB days.... I think it the area is offically called Sugarloaf ridge? one of the guys I talk to on 70cm is an avid microwaver & he sets up his dishes etc on Sugarloaf Ridge.cartman wrote:It is still a fantastic spot for scanning 360 degrees - brilliant views in almost every direction

It would be good to have a get together someday, put a face to the user name etc trouble is I am always doing something on weekends & during the week is a no go, but I do manage to get to Wyong occasionaly.

Good luck, Moonrise has been shut off to the public for a while now.
