Very interesting! I use Wireshark at work to sniff packets on our network, did not even occur to me that it would also sniff over the air packets (with a suitable plugin)

And the issue is?

We are not talking about hacking into secure military comms, or an air defence network, or the PM's office... just routine emergency services communications.
It just shows you can do a PhD on just about anything.

I'd be interested to read your paper citabria - at the very least the recommendations.

I'll be keeping an eye out on news from RUXCON for the presentation.
