Good to hear JAFO, not only because some are abusing the system in the normal juvenile detention centres but also because it serves to help separate the career criminals from the one-time short-term offenders who actually have a chance of learning a lesson and contributing to society in their adult life.

That is it you want these type of kid to have positive role models not a crim who will spend most of his life in a prison and would use kids like we are talking about to do there bidding. Have a great weekend. 73z E=mc2

FOUR teenagers were arrested after allegedly leading police on a pursuit in a stolen driving instructor’s car.
Last Wednesday the instructor reported the white Toyota Corolla missing after he left the keys in the ignition on Grandview Pde, Glendale.
Police patrolling Craigie Ave, Kanwal, on Thursday at 11.20am spotted the car and attempted to stop it.
The driver took off down Lake Haven Drive through a number of streets at Lake Haven, Kanwal and Gorokan.
It will be alleged during the pursuit the car narrowly avoided colliding with a number of vehicles including a bus and reached speeds up to 111km/h in a 50km/h zone.
The driver lost control on Twin Lakes Drive, mounted a concrete median strip, crossed on to the wrong side of the road and crashed into the retaining wall in Tuross Cl.
Four males aged 13, 14, 15 and 16 were arrested and taken to The Entrance police station.
A boy, 15, of Lake Haven was charged with a number of offences including police pursuit, not stopping, driving recklessly (Skye’s Law), dangerous driving, exceeding the speed limit and driving a stolen car.He was granted conditional bail to appear at Wyong Children’s Court on September 7.The other three were released and will receive cautions under the Young Offenders Act.

epic failure.
conditional bail, and young offenders act.

What I want to know is, was it a dual-control learner driver car and if so, could the front passenger also have been charged with driving? :|
