Just happened to be going through the 462mhz range & found alot of frequencies now allocated for simplex use.
This range was previously allocated as a repeater output band.
Since the RFS has vacated this range alot of the frequencies have been allocated to Retail shop vendors.

Re: 462 to 463mhz UHF Band now simplex
John,
With the re-organisation of the 400 MHz band and the change from 9.5 MHz offset to 10 MHz, the previously simplex band of 469.500 to 470.000 MHz become repeater while the previous repeater assignments in the 462.000 to 462.500 MHz band became simplex.
Simplex assignments in the 462 MHz band are made usually in company with the 450 MHz band.
