What's happened to the VicScan forum?

Does anyone know what's happened to the VicScan forum?

I've been trying to log in for a week but keep getting "Domain not found" type errors, the VicScan website still appears to be working but seems the forum has gone belly up?

appears that the main website vicscan.org is now offline (Account Suspended).

Yup we decided to close it down, not a decision we took lightly.

There are varying reasons for us doing so ranging from time constraints, workloads and various other frustrations.

First up, welcome aboard Pumper_50!

I was so sorry to see the VicScan forum go, heaps of great info gone to the big cache in the sky but I guess everything must come to an end? Thanks for all your work with the upkeep of both the website and forum over the years, they were definitely the "go-to" places for info from south of the border and I miss them already.

Do you know if anybody else has taken up the challenge?

Ditto to what Andrew said and welcome P50. I contributed occasionally on the old vicscan forum (username roster).

Welcome also, jumped on board towards the end there, it gave me plenty of options for a recent visit to country Victoria! If its not too much to ask to have some of the more relevant info posted here in a section, maybe the admin if he see's this can possibly create a 'Other States' or similar, I gathered some info recently of the MMR when i was in Melbourne, and am happy to post it up if it benefits other users in travelling down south?
