Has anyone done any research into what type of protocol ASCOM paging systems use, these are systems that are used in a wide variety of industries such as Prisons, Hospitals.
They recieve text messages, whether it be indicating a duress alarm at xyz location or someone sending an alpha numeric message to the pager..
The system at my work runs in the 450mhz range, but thats about as much as I know.
Integrated Wireless are a company that install these systems..

A model/make of the pagers used would be a helpful hint.

The brand is ASCOM, there is no other branding on the pagers
