USDS100 WATERFALL FEATURE NOW AVAILABLE

The Waterfall feature is now available in Australia for the USDS100. I cannot confirm or deny whether other SDS series units can be upgraded via the Uniden Australia website. Price is $35.

I can confirm this doesn’t work (yet). It seems that while the purchase option is ready to go, the upgrade option is not available in the USDS100 menu. Probably needs an updated firmware version to access the feature, like the US models did. Hopefully a firmware upgrade is in the pipeline too.

There has been an update to the firmware on the Uniden website, which by accounts now allows the Waterfall upgrade to be applied to the USDS100. I haven't been able to apply the new firmware yet, but from reading it seems that a number of people have done so and have now got the waterfall features working.

Updated firmware now supports SDS200E
