In mid to late November both the DMR & NXDN upgrades will be available for the UBCD325P2. Cost is expected to be the same as the current upgrades for the PT and USDS models.

Big thumbs up to Uniden Australia.

I'd rather not ask what year the upgrades would be made available, as one was only hoping it would have been November 2019.

So, do we have any further word yet on when the upgrades will be released and made available to the public?

And with the DMR and NXDN upgrade, does the UBCD325P2 handle Tier 3 DMR.

I might be missing something pks, but I can only see a firmware update, not yet an addition of DMR/NXDN. Is DMR now available?

There doesn’t seem to be any ability to currently add DMR or NXDN to these scanners on the upgrade page:

According to Vicradio Zone, it might be getting ready for DMR/NXDN. I haven't updated it myself, but maybe it will enable the upgrade feature.

This is the firmware upgrade that enables DMR & NXDN in the radio. To activate it you will of course have to buy the licence. The necessary changes to the purchase page will be made shortly. Due to the current situation Uniden across the world are operating on skeleton staffing, things will take awhile to happen.

Uniden must have been well ahead of the curve, predicting the current predicaments 6 months back in November last year, which is when this was meant be implemented

Jokes aside, it’s good to see DMR may finally be happening. The 325 is a great little unit, which I find has better sensitivity when side by side with the USDS100. DMR/NXDN will make these units a great buy.
