Uniden 396xt won't scan

Hi all
My niece decided to play with my brothers scanner, it now won't scan.
When he turns it on all the systems are there and he can lock and unlock them but the hold option stays on and flashes.
He has tried locking out all the systems and it says nothing to scan as normal but as soon as he unlocks a system it just sits there with the flashing Hold on the screen.
I havn't looked at the scanner yet but I can't work out what my niece has pressed, hope its not full of drool.

Yep, I love System Hold; along with temporary lockouts (aka "Nuisance Delete") it's a feature I use all the time!

Temp lockouts are great, use them often.
I didn't realise this hold thing existed until tonight, be 396T doesn't have it. It seems like a good feature to have.
Hopfully this will fix my brothers problem, will no doubt here from him tomorow regarding it.
