Camden area cabs

Does anyone know the frequency these guys are on?

hi there, last i heard there wasnt a dedicated cab for camden, premier cabs were supposed to cover that area, but they never left campelltown. picton cabs were allowed to work camden on saturday nights (they have TC plates and are not supposed to work in 'metro' areas), to try cover the area. that was the situation up till 3 years ago when i left the area for good, it may have changed?

Theres an actual company called "Camden Area cabs" that services Camden.

Had a large night with some old mates on Saturday night, and on the way home, the driver had an SRM9022 control head - the tones they used sounded a lot like Tahmoor Taxi's channel on 162.175Mhz, but I was also told they're based in Campbelltown. The cars have dedicated CAC signage..

I made a mental note to check the antenna type as I got out of the cab, but as it happened my mates and myself had a great conversation on the way home and I forgot

Never noticed then around here Matt. Nothing on the ACMA? Maybe they use rental frequencies? Try Major Comms as they rent out some stuff locally.
I'll keep an eye out for them.

Being I live in this local area I've not really concentrated on working out the local frequencies.
