Anyone monitor military band? I thought I'd find something new to listen to, but don't know where to start. Can military communications be monitored by conventional scanners? (excluding their encrypted freq hopping stuff). Thanks.

Hi there,

A few freqs for the Sydney area are 72.350mhz 82.400mhz 77.825mhz range control Holsworthy, 261.700mhz and 361.600mhz movements Richmond, 363.800mhz 135.500mhz Richmond ATC, 156.475mhz and 156.200mhz marine freqs used by the Navy. If you search between 230mhz and 400mhz AM and FM you may come across more...

Cheers...
