Pager decoding software
Re: Pager decoding software
I am with Andrew, never had any success with headphone audio, get a disc. tapped scanner if you can.
Re: Pager decoding software
The program I used a long time ago that worked with just the headphone audio was Poc32. It was able to decode 512bps fairly well with just the right audio level (25% on the audio level bar on the software from memory). If the audio level was too low or high it would fail to decode. At higher baud rates it would be very touch and go. Decoding was far more reliable of course with a discriminator tap and I would highly recommend that. I'm not sure you can still get Poc32 or if it's still around. It's a Windows based program.
