Frequency assignments deopending on area / other 400 - 420 channels being used, as base stations need to be reprogrammed and c...

I know Col05 is busy, but basically there was a major issue with Blue Mountains PMR system with one of their sites, hence the quick move to GRN. As mentioned in other parts of the forum, we have have experienced numerous busies in the mountains this week with Tomah coping the most traffic. Is there...

Re: 20/10/2013 - Bushfire Related Logging
As I'm sure you know, there are simular features programmable for emergency activations with P25, such as "Hot Microphone" etc. and I know user radios can be programmed to receive emergency calls also, but I've never tried it on a radio with a colour display so I'm not sure if P25 displays flash to...

Re: 20/10/2013 - Bushfire Related Logging
Scotty, All FRNSW radios have had the Emergency button enabled for many many years... it even works on PMR. You also totally misunderstand what the function of the feature is. It has nothing to do with gaining priority- that only comes into play when the network is busy while the function is needed...

Re: P25 Talk Groups part 2
I did follow the correct chain at the time when i became aware, nothing was done about it. Sadly since i moved I lost all the paper information I had but I wlll be editing/deleting the original post I made. Not sure what chain you are talking about, any suspected corrupt conduct should be reported ...

Re: P25 Talk Groups part 2
Your making quite a substantial inference here. I suggest that if you have information to provide to the ICAC, pick up the phone and call them to report it instead of posting here.centralcoastscanman wrote:Removed quote from above
