they will do 477 with some software "help", specs are usually ok on most radio's, but you will get the odd one that doesn't co-operate.

Obviously they are no longer "legal" if you mod them.

Maybe some of us who deal with them regularly and actually know what they get up to might be in a slightly better position to judge them! They aren't perfect by any means but the staff that are there try their best and actually do get things done when given a chance. Anyway... they did their job in...

I have been told the early Motorola Sabre's would do midband.

Never seen one. have found several references on the web to it however.

I don't play with Simoco much but does the P25 option in the SRM9000 apply to midband ?

It works well decoded the old 4.1 Smartzone system CC ok. Have not tried any P25 on it but I can't see why it wouldn't

Only bummer is it's an ISA interfrace to the PC
