While we're on the subject, is there any way to 'remote' the display for the SDS200E?
Controls would be a bonus but mainly I just don't have room to mount it somewhere it can be seen.

Re: SDS200 vs SDS200E
The only SDS200E I can see for sale on eBay at the moment is out of the UK for AU$1,539.92
The only Aussie seller that mentions the 200E is just selling SD card updates for various GRNs.

When you say "silent", is it actually in wide area trunking or is it still isolated (aka site trunking)?JAFO wrote: ~ Mungindi still silent after 3 years

That CoW is on Mt Wandera, I'm looking at it right now!
Still currently showing as site 004-117 with a CC of 04-0466 415.3875 (BUCC 04-0578 416.0875 / VCs 416.3375 / 416.5875 / 416.8375).

Apparently trunking CCs can now be TDMA
This link just popped up on the Unitrunker forum (I really hate to provide a link to "that website" but it is what it is):

Re: NSW Police Broadcasting On GRN
I'm sure I read something somewhere about the PF having guaranteed access? It was either on a priority basis or, like the MMR, dedicated bases at each site which are ONLY available for PF usage.Scotty wrote:I still reckon even day to day ops will be hampered.

Re: NSW Police Broadcasting On GRN
Yeah, I thought the whole point of those CCEP upgrades to the GRN was to get the cops on-board in those areas, but that doesn't seem to have happened (that I know of anyway). The cop on the ground (especially HWP and anyone else who travels) would get a huge benefit from being on the GRN (coverage i...

Re: NSW Police Broadcasting On GRN
There would have to be more than 26 GD talkgroups because there's channels Alpha thru Zulu plus a handful of numbered channels (I recall "Channel 4" was out Quakers Hill way) plus however many networked back-channels will be replaced. I know their "Zone 5" in the new radios has all the ESO Liaison c...

Re: Learjet calling mayday over Nowra
Just landed safely at HMAS Albatross, they didn't say what the problem was.
There were three Navy Airbus Helos scrambled too, I was watching them circling the airbase while the Learjet was coming in to land.
