Re: NSW RFS Profile V10.4.3
Did someone delete my previous message(s) and why? Glenn even if you are a member of the RFS it is not a good idea to advertise in a public forum that you have unlicenced/unauthorised radio equipment programmed with frequencies that you are not licenced or authorised to have in a non issue radio. E...

Re: NSW RFS Profile V10.4.3
It would be interesting to know how they are going to triage a legit vs non legit. But that's still not RFS being encrpyted. It will also cost lives! I've seen and heard incidents where poor management and alerting from the RFS saw people only getting a warning by them or someone else with a scanner...

Re: NSWRFS TG 20013 Manning Fires
Cartman .... eG033 MIDCO 2 for airops and regular traffic is on PMR. GRN is rather limited here but slowly creeping in and the aircraft are usually high enough to get back to Cabbage Tree at worst (nearest full site). That said I had my handheld inside where I was today (can't say but it involves a ...

Re: NSW RFS: East Region - All TG's and Frequencies
If they're using an omnitronics console which they likely are then turning on the paddles for both back end radios will give you the they hear and tx on both but there being no crosslink. I'm surprised they're still getting away with being non standard ... seems rules for some and not others.

Re: NSW RFS: East Region - All TG's and Frequencies
Thanks. But to correct something there, MIdcoast is divided in 2 then strapped together with a crappy bridge that you can HEAR the difference in ... North is Hastings council and the old Greater Taree City Council with south being the old Great Lakes Council and Gloucester Council. Midcoast council ...

Re: Sydney to Go Silent
Well they're boned here then as Telstra 4G is rubbish. We live in town only a few blocks from the cbd and had to disable 4G when we were with Telstra as the phones refused to make or rx calls on 4G. 3G850 not so much an issue. Optus for some reason has really taken over coverage in the area I'm livi...

Re: NSW RFS Pager Capcodes
What's the use of Telstra mobile when it's pathetic and won't work when needed for tracking? We have P25 voted groups up here with no GRN. There us a bridge setup in one of the control centres joining the separated North and South groups (same area now but wasn't a couple of years ago pre council me...
