Downtime 26 August
Hi Guys,
Apologies for the downtime today. The site was transferred to me earlier in the year to look after and I only had the hosting bill in my calendar. I've now renewed the Domain name as well.
I'll pop both in the calendar from now on.

Those MDT's were shit full stop. It's only in the last few years that I think hardware has gotten to the level that it needs to be rugged, easy to read and operable with gloves on in a truck and the HP Toughpads being used are definitely best of breed in that field. The software is also being vigoro...

You would think that... 10 points for being optimistic... It's probably not the guys in the OCC that are causing the issues but people in their offices with their portable on particular talk groups... Every office in there has a couple of radios sitting in a charger

Yep those are "Fire Ground" channels for use in shopping centres, railway stations etc where simplex doesn't work very well between crews and trucks and their is GRN coverage within the structure.
