Re: NSW P25 GRN - Radio IDs

Didn't particularly suggest they were in error. And yes there is an XTL/APX patch here and I know it's I'd which is NOT a 1 but rather the typical 20xxxx pattern. The ids were coming up LONG before any sort of patch was put in place. I have a fair knowledge of how they are doing a lot of their stuff...

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Radio IDs

Again we currently have no trunking networks to patch to here and these were local handhelds. It seems all the Tait handhelds were programmed like this. Seen on XTS5000, XTS2500 & XTL5000 (as well as a service XTS5000 from the comms room).

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Radio IDs

Nah the 1's are a number of local handhelds on our voting network there is no GRN patch here yet and hopefully it stays that way as long as possible. I had been giving Homebush bench a list of each "1" I saw but they seem to have gone with either a "will fix it when we get there" or "stuff it we DGA...

Re: The Lakes and Gosford RFS

Can't remember the date thinking around the same time though, Hastings, Greater Taree, Great Lakes & Gloucester are now "Mid Coast". Makes things REALLY interesting in S44 times in the radio room.

Re: Hawkesbury RFS P25 PMR Patched?????

Regrettably you can add MidCoast (Hastings, Greater Taree, Great Lakes & Gloucester) to that list. Despite the wishes of the comms brigades the top brass just steam rolled it in.

Re: New RFS profile?

Late comer to the the party but we still have analogue in our radios here and I thought some areas SW were still analogue? I was made aware last year sometime there was a new profile in dev and I put in some requests like giving the rx only data at least to the firefighters who like to hear what the...

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Radio IDs

Hi all ammendment to that list. I've been trying to get a full list for the local area on and off and have seen 201xxx, 202xxxx, 203xxxx AND 204xxxxx. I'm starting to wonder if there is just a number generator for whoever is responsible for all GRN radios and it's a first come first served whoever i...

Re: VRA on RFS network

Hi all, this is probably my first post and not likely nice by some standards. To hell with the idea of a combined emergency services model!!! That is ridiculous and could not be achieved even if they wanted it as that would require paid staff for NSW for ALL the tiny little nooks and crannies (why d...
