Re: Drunk teen steals 14-tonne fire engine (Blue Mountains)

The size 10 is by far the best way to deal with this bloke in this case, but these days the Police officer could quite likely end up in court on much more serious charges than the kid on a joy ride. Sadly gone are the days of kid respecting anyone in the job, back when the 21 Division was around kid...

Re: Drunk teen steals 14-tonne fire engine (Blue Mountains)

No Andrew I did not make it very clear, I did not mean the young bloke, I was thinking of the warm and fuzzy that people think of about child rapists being killed while living at one of the NSW Corrective Services hotels for the crim'z. It is not the case as these are very bad people and have done v...

Drunk teen steals 14-tonne fire engine (Blue Mountains)

I think it is not a real good thing for anyone to steal anything kid or adult but put a kid in with adults would be a huge mistake as all this BS about the killing of the people who would be using this young bloke as a bitch is far from the real thing. The young bloke would be put with the knuckle d...

Google Earth NSW Emergency Service Radio Sites

Gday all, I remember a few years of so back one of the NSW Scanning sites had links to a add for Google Earth that had NSW Emergency Service Radio Sites. Each file was for each service ie NSWRFS, NSWFB, and I think it may have also had one for the ASNSW. I would like to know if these have been updat...

3rd P25 UHF Repeater Up and Going

The Manly-Warringah Radio Society now has a FM / P25 UHF setup on 438.175 RX / 433.175 TX
123hz tone analogue only - 293 NAC digital only. The system is now at 70 watts but the Antenna needs alot of work and it will start this weekend. It is great to see a new P25 setup. 73z Richard VK2UAL

Re: Channel X

These blokes are one of the main reasons VKG went digital, the state government looked like real pork chops when the media played recordings of the fwits who were heckling police on Bankstown and other channels around that area. This was played on the radio and TV news and was in daily newspapers on...

Re: DAB+ Broadcast Service

Gday, I was one of the stupid people who bought one of the DAB series one radios for $499 and have been screwed as these radio's will not work on new system DAB+. DAB+ reception is not very good in a lot of the GSB - Greater Sydney Basin even a lot of the Northern Beaches has no DAB+ reception at al...
