I just did a 2400klm road trip up North to, Brisbane, West out to Warwick through to Mungindi and then back to Sydney. The NSW GRN was nice and clear to listen to all the way up to Redback Planes in Brisbane's West, and out to Warwick and then got quiet once West of Warwick. I got driven around Bris...

From what I know, the Retained Pagers will now give "Call Type" and the ability for RTFFs to Reply/Acknowledge the Page.
Looks like there is a Paging Transmitter in the Lower Blue Mtns, which might give good coverage to the Sydney West portion of the Sydney basin.

Was down Albury just before Christmas. Came back up to Sydney via the Olympic Way. The Wagga Site was active, No voice.
It Came up as: Zone 3-098

And Friday I ran Analyse on My scanner and Yep . . . Razorback came up as 004-016 as did 004-012: Horsley Park.

Coming off night shifts on the Saturday . . . so can see myself going for a day drive down to John O'Dwyer Oval at Croom. A good vantage spot . . . just south of the 34 Runway, large park area with heaps of space for cars. Toilet facilities (hopefully open) . . . so A good vantage spot overall . . ....
