Re: SLS NSW GPS DATA
Programming stuff up. Not necessarily, from what i understand with the MOTO ARS system you have to point your ARS beacons to a particular ARS Radio server with a unique ID. Different Surf Life Saving Districts locations may have there own ARS Radio servers. You can program all the multiple repeater...

Re: SLS NSW GPS DATA
3001 is mid north coast from memory Hmmm, maybe they had people from other areas with radio programmed differently. The ARS reports seem to be going to a different TG (channel) than the voice comms, so i think that means they are using GPS Revert. If radios from another area had a different GPS rev...

Re: SLS NSW GPS DATA
Watch a complete transmission using a streaming protocol (P25 is useful) using that software - and watch how many times it gets the wrong NAC, KID, ALGID, MI and TG :) Yes i don't always trust what I'm seeing, however the same results have been happening all day not a one of. But i suppose it could...

Re: LRRP mapping with DSD+
Are you feeding the signal straight into DSD+ or is it coming from SDRSharp or the like? The latest DSD+ release has a software RTL SDR receiver package called FMP24 that feeds via TCP to DSD+. LRRP is another EXE file included with DSD+ and you start that at the same time and it reads a file that ...

LRRP mapping with DSD+
Hi ALL, So being a hot Sunday I thought this would be when the Surf Life Saving DMR RPT at Maddens Plains on 473.8000 would be busy. Surprisingly I can receive it well here in North Western Sydney. I'm using a discone which is shared by 8 different receivers (two of which are my RTL SDR with DSD+) S...

Re: Surf Life Saving rolling out digital radios
Monitored some traffic on the Surf Life Saving Maddens Plains 473.8000 - DMR Repeater today and saw GPS positions coming up on DSD+. First time I Have seen a DMR system that I can receive here with the GPS system reporting, might have to get LRRP working in DSD now. I am surprised that there are not...
