Re: USDS100 WATERFALL FEATURE NOW AVAILABLE
There has been an update to the firmware on the Uniden website, which by accounts now allows the Waterfall upgrade to be applied to the USDS100. I haven't been able to apply the new firmware yet, but from reading it seems that a number of people have done so and have now got the waterfall features w...

Re: USDS100 WATERFALL FEATURE NOW AVAILABLE
I can confirm this doesn’t work (yet). It seems that while the purchase option is ready to go, the upgrade option is not available in the USDS100 menu. Probably needs an updated firmware version to access the feature, like the US models did. Hopefully a firmware upgrade is in the pipeline too.

Re: Looks like simulcast is here.
Noticed changes to the Chullora and Connell Park sites around the end of November, but haven’t had an opportunity to jump on here to see what the go was. As yet had no issues scanning the 001-032 simulcast frequency on ‘non-LSM’ scanners, but may become an issue once more sites become active on the ...

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
Can you give me the specific sites and frequencies please? Can't give you the frequencies or full details while mobile, but off the top of my head 3-014 as mentioned is one and another one is at Bingara. That's because that isn't simulcasting. Unless there is overlap, with a GPSDO simulcast control...

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
None of those sites are simulcast. A hidden host site and LSM/CQPSK simulcast site are like chalk and cheese. Simulcast is when you have multiple transmitters at multiple sites, transmitting at the same time, on the *same* frequency, with the coverage of those transmitters overlapping. My understan...

Re: NSW AS Profile V1a 13-7-11
I heard from some friends up around the QLD border that the ambos are making good use of the GRN up that way, with their own channel on TG 30329. I've heard a bunch of new TG's around Sydney as well over the years, so no doubt be some new profiles since that above one was posted 10 years back. The N...

Re: NSWGRN Control Channel list
Are there really any sites with old PF frequencies for control channels? There are 2 known sites in Sydney that are using old PF frequencies, site 001-081 (467.5125) and 082 (469.7875). Could well be more. Those two frequencies are not listed on the CC list on the first page, so that would suggest ...

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
New site active - Nth Coast 003-105 South Tweed (Kirkwood Road) NAC 2D0, CC 419.6125 BUCC 419.1125 Peers, 003-147, 003-148, 003-149 I've had 003-105 listed as CC 419.6125 SCC 419.1125, but at My Hyland (ACMA 20036348) since 2021. That does seem to correlate with nearby sites (Coffs 003-104, etc). I...

Re: NSW RFS: East Region - All TG's and Frequencies
The nswgrn.com website has those new TG's that you are after.
I'll go through and update the first page of this thread with those new TGs from that site when I get a chance, although I don't think 'East Region' exists anymore?

Thanks all. I've updated the list on page 1, and sorted it alphabetically.
