Re: NSWGRN Control Channel list

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Radio IDs

What a pitty 5G will never work in 90% of the area in the MId North Coast (too hilly and they're too scrooge to install enough towers .. hell none of them can even get 4G to work outside of town).

That said, Marine Rescue frankly have VERY LITTLE reason to bother with the GRN anyway given their role.

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Radio IDs

Vessel callsigns seem to be a two-letter abbreviation of the town name, followed by a number. IE, the Bermagui callsigns are "BM20" & "BM30", but there's also "X-Ray" callsigns, which seem to be vehicles driving around (possibly the "higher-ups")? Yes they've had that setup for a whilst. When they'...

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Radio IDs

I believe Marine Rescue have had GRN access for some time just have not really had a need to use it.

Re: NSW RFS Pager Capcodes

I'm atm using PDW and testing between an SDR and modded scanner (hit and miss a tad on both it seems for whatever reason). I'd be interested in what programs have been made for a raspi for poc logging and if it would email forward like PDW does I'd be over the moon so to speak as I can then case it ...

Re: NSW RFS Pager Capcodes

Indeed!

They do have a list and I've asked staff for it and been promptly told that even the local pagers address' they're not able to give out. They said they know I'll find them out the hard way anyway.

Re: NSW RFS Pager Capcodes

I'd love to see a list showing the first designators and which LGAs fhey belong to eg 0023xxxx is BLAH LGA (number plucked from butt). Brigade level (the XXXX) would only be of use then to someone in or near that LGA. If someone started making a list I'd be interested in sharing my findings with tho...

Re: NSW RFS: East Region - All TG's and Frequencies

"16 August 2022 12:12:43 ALERT For all members Lower Hunter District"

HOW is MidCoast somehow months ahead of Lower Hunter?

Quick hint .. learn your F1 commands and use the latest versioning of it as ;s is stop not sitrep like earlier versions claimed.

Re: New FRNSW Pager frequency (?)

Is it possible that FRNSW contracted VHA (if they still call themselves that after sort of merging with TPGgroup) to run their pager equipment?
