Re: New RFS profile?
I know they are ACMA listed but that is totally beside the point! As for the XTS3000's no we still have some here that are not brigade owned and you obviously have NFI if you truly think they are not worth putting effort to. One of the biggest complaints about radios outside of the metro areas that ...

Re: Newcastle/Hunter TGs
Hi Cartman sorry for the late reply been a tad busy. I'm aware that a radio needs to affiliate to hear something. I think it is Mayfield ambo station that links Cabbage Tree for Newcastle ambos and maybe Buladelah ambo station??? for OHUN. I'm aware FRNSW runs on PMR here and that currently is where...

Re: NSW RFS Pager Capcodes
Mid Coast Area - I've been working on these a little whilst with no help from the paid staff (WOW they get upset if you ask for a list of capcodes). I'm still adding and refining these as I come across them. Output is from POC32's alias.txt. 610328 0 NABIAC 590248 0 MINIMBAH 610608 0 MOORLAND 610104...

Re: NSW SES Profile V1
Interesting to see these lists and from so long ago yet SES are *STILL* on the analogue channels as well around Taree. Would be curious to know why it's taking them so long to change over (longer than the RFS).

Newcastle/Hunter TGs
Hi all could someone please put up a list of active TGs for the lower hunter area. Being just in range of only Cabbage Tree it is a little hard to know which TGs to input for scan selection. I have Newcastle and OHUN ambulance sorted & lower hunter RFS sorted but cannot seem to get an active FRNSW T...

Re: VRA on RFS network
Post " NSW RFS: East Region - All TG's and Frequencies Postby Scotty » Thu Oct 05, 2017 9:39 pm October 2017 Update:" seems to already confirm our analogue is gone. Mid Coast which is now as I said before Hastings, Greater Taree, Great Lakes and Glocuester has been totally P25 for at least 2 years n...

Re: VRA on RFS network
The analogue system is GONE ... years ago believe it or not. The changeover was rather overnight sudden here. Those who know what they are talking about or at least have half an idea believe the P25 system to be better but there is always those old hangers on with the "oh we used to get reception cr...

Re: VRA on RFS network
That emergency call ... we had the EXACT situation about a month ago here where it was BF training grabbed the wrong radio/mic and made everyone excrete bricks. Yes if they call in to our comms then I agree they'd be alike any other brigade but wasn't the intention mentioned above for them to have a...

Re: VRA on RFS network
Proper sops or not the primary pmr becomes extremely tied up in s44 with several large incidents running and a half dozen aircraft. The RFS channels wouldn't work for them anyway as they aren't always linked and hunter links to marine rescue at night. VRA have their own 77meg repeater here anyway. Y...
