Re: Filling in the GRN gaps

If you consider that the residents of NSW are already paying for half a dozen separate PMR networks now that cover those same areas the cost is much less of a factor. Pooling resources by getting police, ambulance, fire, RFS, SES, energy, railways (and God knows who else) all on a common network sh...

Re: Filling in the GRN gaps

Now will all of you support it when you are paying for it out of your state charges & insurance levies? Re: Interesting comments re Radio Reference et al

Every one of those refers to "NSWPF". They have a reason to encrypt, however there has been no significant interest by any other NSW ESO in encryption. If it was just a "mouse click" to implement I'm pretty sure some would have, but encryption is a major logistic undertaking to properly manage. That...

Re: Interesting comments re Radio Reference et al

"Not just police agencies, but many emergency/public services" couldn't the same be said about this site here? Re: Fire and Rescue NSW upgrades to Tait P25

Is this system for areas not coverd by the GRN? Regards Kev FRNSW has about 140 PMR sites across the state. The southern/south western areas of the state have either been upgraded to P25 base voting or is in the process of being done. The area through Crookwell to Cootamundra, plus Junee and Temora...
