Just purchased the PSR-500,issue with the NSW GRN.... can see the talk groups appear on analogue and digital but getting no sound..... most frustrating!!
Anyone got any clues???

Hello mate.... I'm going to try some stuff off C1 today as it seems to be the only bird i can find at this time... I will search between 900mhz and 1200mhz for ATC TX... See how i go!!!

Thinking of up grading to a digital GRN capable scanner in the coming months... Is it worth it?
What will i be able to hear? and not, which will be encrypted...!! Basic question i know, just
working out if its worth it....

122.9mhz is the wilton DZ freq.. you will also hear Polair 6 on 124.550mhz or 125.800mhz advising the drop aircraft of intentions..

121.2 and 125.0 off Mt Mc.... try listening on Sydney radar 125.8 or 124.55 for op's around the Wilton Picton area... 468.050 or 468.575 for police use.

When is this change over taking place??? will it be digital or in the clear??? have seen allocations poping up on the 162mhz ish band...

I have monitored Madden Plains freq... they sound like a burst of morse code every few min's..
